I celebrated its arrival with some grilled banana french toast this morning
I have been making this delicious creation for months after reading it on one of my favorite blogs, Healthy Tipping Point. Check out Caitlin’s recipe for the original deal!
I made regular french toast with some excellent whole grain bread I picked up and grilled half of a banana in the same pan while the toast was cooking
Then, I put the bananas in the middle, another slice on top, and topped the whole thing with vanilla yogurt, strawberries, blueberries, and a sprinkle of cinnamon. So good, and still so healthy!
If you need a special breakfast treat or if you just want to treat yourself, give this recipe a try. I promise it will become a fast favorite. It tastes just a good with a drizzle of real maple syrup, too!
Agenda for the day includes a 3 mile run, possibly a Zumba class, and lots & lots of homework.
